Fieldwork in British Columbia, Canada

Arko and Darren recently visited Canada for a collaborative research project with Nicholas Coops who runs the Integrated Remote Sensing Studio at The University of British Columbia. From the 18–22 of June a team for around 11 people covered 5 forestry research sites in the Vancouver area, collecting LiDAR, Visible, Multispectral and Spectroscopy data from various UAS, whilst ground teams collected validation data and foliage samples. Very hard and intensive work, but it was great fun, we saw some beautiful parts of British Columbia and met some great people.
